About
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Johns Hopkins University as of July 2021. I am also affiliated with the Mathematical Institute for Data Science (MINDS). Broadly speaking, my research interests are at the intersection of machine learning, control, and optimization. I am interested in machine learning for optimization, learning for dynamical systems and control, control theory, and the design of optimization algorithms for machine learning applications.
Education
- Ph.D. in Electrical and Systems Engineering, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA (2013-2018)
